Celebrating the Festa della Madonna del Mare in Soverato

Every year, the coastal town of Soverato in Calabria, Italy, comes alive with the vibrant and deeply spiritual Festa della Madonna del Mare. After her boat tour, Maria leads a procession onshore as well, then is returned to her resting place in the crystal waters.
